The Black Mamas Free Store promotes generosity, cooperation, and sustainability. Participating helps build an equitable and inclusive society. Hyper-local free cycling reduces waste and fosters community connection.

Black Mamas Village Members can shop exclusively from 9am-11am

The Austin Community is welcome to shop 11am-2pm.

Drop-off Schedule

• Saturday October 18th 10AM - 8PM

• Monday October 20th 10AM - 8PM

• Tuesday October 21st 10AM -2PM

Donation Drop-off Details

We are collecting the following: clothing, shoes, household items, electronics, appliances, children’s toys and baby gear, furniture, and decor.

Please make an appointment to bring large items such as furniture, large appliances, oversized decor/toys or bring on the day of the event from 7am-8am.

Please see our general donation guidelines below:

All clothing should be clean and sorted by gender and size. Items should be folded or hung.

All other items should be clean, working and in good condition (would someone buy it a thrift/retail store).

Car seats and items with expiration dates must be unexpired.

Due to our limited capacity, we are unable to accept items that do not meet these guidelines.

*SOS appointments are available if you are unable to prep your items before drop-off.
