Every Thanksgiving Day, Black Mamas Village brings families together for a Friendsgiving celebration that feels just like being at Auntie's house.
Picture a warm Thanksgiving meal, card games and friendly competition, a gratitude activity, a photo booth, and children playing together like cousins. It's food, family, laughter, and community, all in one place.
Last year, Friendsgiving welcomed over 70 families. For many, it was more than a meal. It was a day of joy, connection, and belonging—a reminder that they are surrounded by a village that shows up for them.
This year, we're hoping to welcome even more families to the table, and we're inviting our community to help make it happen.
